The size is not as small as I would have liked it to be.

Airlines with the worse seat cushions in order:
Frontier: Seem to be an airplane seat pad covering hard plastic.
Spirit: Their older planes seem to be from Delta but they are just very used.
Southwest: Bowing 700 is just too small but their new 800 class has great legroom.
Delta: You won’t hurt yourself but make sure you never get stuck in the rows in front, or right behind the exit row seats.
United: I’ve never had a bad experience with their seats.
Jetblue: My overall most comfortable airplane seat choice.
First class on any of the planes mentioned will give you the best seat cushion on a plane.
