How far is it from the Atlanta Airport?
Metro Atlanta can sometimes be the fastest city I’ve ever traveled around.
You can literally get from the Northern Suburbs to the Southern suburbs in less than an hour.
I’ve been able to leave home, make it to the airport, check in, and catch my flight to the Caribbean in about 2 hours
but then there’s Atlanta Rush Hour…
Rush hour usually lasts from maybe 5:30 am to 9 am in the mornings and 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the evenings with Fridays being the worst.
The Answer to the question of how long it will take to get to the airport can be VERY different at different times of the day.
The honest answer is 3 hours during rush hour and 1 hour 2 minutes at other times.
6 hours if you are brave enough to try to get there on a Friday at 6 pm.
You will need to take the GA 400 to the I-85 South to get there.
Some people prefer taking the 285 south once they reach it via the GA 400
Conclusion:
Is this Canton a good place to live?
This city is a standout neighborhood in Metro Atlanta but maybe a little too far north for those who require city living.
