Ever since I made my Moving to Atlanta series of videos, people in my comments section have always asked me to start driving around Atlanta and filming.
It didn’t make sense financially because burning gas on videos that may or may not be a hit was something I was not interested in doing.
I’ve been uploading all of my previous videos about moving to Atlanta from the Passport kings page to this new Welcome to Atlanta YouTube Page.
It makes more sense to me to have them there.
I’ve dropped in views tremendously but it’s ok because I’m mostly looking to help those interested in moving to Atlanta.
Driving around Atlanta gives you a great opportunity to see all of the areas that you’ve only heard about through various sources of media.
I recently found a solution.
I found a pretty good-paying driving gig.
I drop off packages in different neighborhoods in the Metro Atlanta Area almost every day when I’m not traveling.
This is my first attempt at fulfilling the driving around Atlanta request.
This is the 1rst portion of my Driving around Smyrna, GA which is in the north area of Metro – Atlanta.
I think 13 minutes is long enough.
This is my first attempt at a self-guided driving tour of Atlanta
What do you think?
Driving around Atlanta is in Beta
I am looking for Ideas though.
Just like I’m sure you would like to know what the best driving roads near Atlanta are, I would like to know what exactly are you looking for in a driving around Atlanta video like this.
If you notice anything that will make these driving-around videos more entertaining, let me know in the comments.
In the video I’m attaching below, I am driving around Atlanta in the Smyrna Area.
This is NOT the most excellent neighborhood in Smyrna which I think is OK because this is my first attempt.
If anything went wrong or could be better, I can fix it in Upcoming Videos.
I’d love to drive in neighborhoods that I think are cool, some that I think are rough, and even though scenic wonderlands like Chattahoochee park
I mistakingly was listening to the radio when I was driving around Atlanta on this day.
I do not want to get demonetized by YouTube.
That is why I played music throughout this particular video.
I guess next time I record, I’ll leave the radio off.
Let me know what you guys think.
I would love to give cool insights like the best driving route around Atlanta.
When is the best time to drive through Atlanta to avoid traffic?
Drone shots from high above the city of Atlanta
I can catch the south Fulton scenic byway and much more.
I’m already listing the little tips and tricks that I already know about backroads in Atlanta.
A lot of people will get upset and claim that the surrounding cities of Atlanta should not be mentioned when only talking about Atlanta.
However, as far as the geological definition of Metro-Atlanta goes, all of the surrounding towns and counties can and SHOULD be included.
Some of the ideas I had for driving around Atlanta were:
- 1. Recording a podcast (I could just talk about what I’m seeing and any info I have about where I am.)
- 2. Giving a lot of facts and cost of living information about the area I’m in
- 3. Only having the sounds of the outside world to give an ASMR experience
- 4. Adding other audio to help motivate you into making the move to Atlanta and follow any other dreams and goals you have.
