These are the Pros and Cons of growing up in NYC.
I was born and raised in New York City in the Bronx. After I moved to Atlanta I’ve met a lot of people who could not understand how I would ever move away from NYC. NYC has a whole lot of pros of living there but it also has cons that bothered me and made me try out another city. Looking back on my experience growing up in NYC I decided to just jot down a few pointers. This certainly does not cover the entire scope of the 25+ years that I’ve lived in New York but here are some of the things that stand out when I look back on my upbringing in New York City.
