There are Carnivals located in every city in Brazil, however the two largest Carnivals take place in Rio De Janeiro, and Salvador Bahia, Brazil.
WHAT DATES ARE THE EVENTS?
The Brazilian Carnival is February 8-14th, 2018. The best day to get there is 7th until February 14th, 2018 due to hotel minimum stays for at least 7 days during Carnival Week
People will want to dance with you in the streets, the parades will be extravagant and the samba dancing is like no where else in the world. At times it’ll feel like you are in a fictional world
WHAT MAKES BRAZIL CARNIVAL SO SPECIAL?
This is huge competition where different schools (neighborhoods) practice for 8 months out of the year to find out who has the best dancers, floats and more. The results are so over the top that it becomes “can’t miss!”
We are talking a sea of thousands taking over the bars, the clubs, the restaurants, the pools, the streets and everything else.
Everything
is within a 3 minute walking distance from your hotel/apartment. If you need to eat, the restaurants are right there. If you want to get in the pool, it’s right there. If you need to shop, the mall is right there. If you need to drink, it’s right there. If you need to change clothes, you can practically take a 5 minute stroll to your hotel and you are right there.
