Military Diet Before Brazil Trip
Today on Passport Kings I’m issuing you and myself for weight loss challenge before my upcoming, 1st time trip to Brazil in July.
I’ve heard all the stories about how they will accept you the way that you are in Brazil.
I’ve heard how African-American men are treated like a man in Brazil without having to Pedestalize women who don’t deserve it.
If we’re already regarded in the highest of standards what’s the point of losing weight?
For me, I also have to feel a certain way about myself while presenting myself in public.
Being in decent shape makes me feel more outgoing and less self-conscious.
It’s what I’ve always done when embarking on a new adventure.
I read an article called The three-day military Diet and decided I’m gonna do it.
It said I could lose up to 10 pounds in three days.
I’ve also decided to document my experience on the Passport Kings channel to see if I would recommend it to anyone.
I will be cheating on this diet because it claims you don’t need exercise.
However, I’m gonna be walking in the morning and going to the gym.
Military Diet grocery list?
Here’s the list of the foods you’re going to need to complete this challenge:
Bottled Water
Go to the supermarket and find the best deal you can find on as many bottled waters as possible.
I got 32 bottles of Kroger water for just $2.99
Water will be your anchor between meals.
This is to stop you from feeling empty and to keep you hydrated all day.
Grapefruit
Next, get a bag of grapefruits.
All citrus foods burn fat but grapefruits are what the Military Diet calls for.
Grapefruits burn fat better than oranges and lemons.
Black Coffee
You will also need black coffee.
For those who are addicted… or desire coffee every morning, this should be right up your alley.
Thankfully The military diet plan will not leave you drowsy in the morning.
Actual food on the 3-day Military Diet
For actual food, you will need to hit the grocery store and grab:
- A small jar of peanut butter.
- some wheat bread
- two cans of tuna
- A can of green beans
- Fresh chicken breast
- bananas
- enough vanilla ice cream to last you four days vanilla ice cream
- 1 Carton of 6 eggs.
If your supermarket is anything like mine they sell a little packet of eggs that are already boiled that you can just buy the packet you won’t leave after cooking chance
- A pack of your favorite hot dogs.
- Saltine crackers
- Cottage cheese
- Small box of Frozen Broccoli
- A small bag of carrots
- three apples
- a quarter pound of cheddar cheese any brand
Yeah, this might sound like a lot of crap for just 3 days of a diet.
I use a few coupons and everything came up to a little less than 20 bucks.
I also make money with receipts every time I go to the supermarket so a lot of these things will earn me cash back.

You won’t be hungry at all.
You won’t be spending money on food for the next few days.
And you have to waste half a day at the Supermarket.
Day 1 of my 3-day Military Diet
The night before I started my Military Diet, I got into bed super early.
Many weight loss experts (on youtube) say that I lack of sleep will stop you from losing weight more than anything else.
This was only three days out of my life, so I wanted to give this diet the fairest chance it can get, to work.
My 1st weigh-in!
As soon as I woke up, I ran to the scale to see what I weighed right out of bed in the morning.
I stood in only my drawers and no other clothing.
I got on the scale and it said 247 pounds.
I was appalled because this was actually the heaviest I had been in years.
All of the travel and eating whatever looked good had taken its toll on me.
Ridiculous!
If the military diet works, I should be around 237 lbs three days from now.
3 Day military diet Breakfast
I’m not a coffee guy so instead of that, I decided to go with water for my meals.
I had gotten my palate used to only drinking water a long time ago, so that part won’t be that hard for me.
For breakfast, I had to toast one slice of whole wheat bread.
After, I was to spread two tablespoons of peanut butter on the bread.
Accompany your peanut butter toast with one-half of grapefruit.
I then started to realize that the Military diet requires caffeine to work correctly.
Instead of coffee, I decided to boil a cup of tea without sugar.
Unsweetened tea is not that bad.
I then ate my Military diet breakfast and began my day.
It may have been a mistake to go on my daily walk after I ate such a light breakfast.
I was starving as soon as I walked back into the house.
I promised myself that the next day I would work out first, then eat breakfast so the calories could stick with me throughout the morning.
3 Day Military Diet Lunch
For lunch on day 1, I had
- one slice of toast
- one-half cup of tuna,
- unsweetened tea.
On regular days, when I’m not dieting, I usually skip lunch.
However, Lunch plays a pivotal role in a balanced diet, as it provides essential nutrients and energy to fuel our bodies throughout the day.
Skipping lunch can lead to a drop in blood sugar levels, causing fatigue and decreased productivity.
Additionally, a well-balanced lunch can prevent overeating during dinner and help maintain steady blood sugar levels.
Lunch supports weight management and overall health.
Eating lunch on day 1 was a very easy choice for me.
As I said, I had burned off all of the breakfast I ate earlier.
3 Day Military Diet Dinner
For dinner, had three ounces of chicken which was the same size as a deck of cards.
The sides were one cup of green beans, one small apple and one half a banana, and also one cup of vanilla ice cream.
I found it easier to chop the chicken into pieces and throw the green beans in the same skillet.
The green bean juices will flow into the chicken and add some flavor.
I added a dash of salt.
I sliced the apples and bananas into a bowl to microwave them for 30 seconds.
Then I dumped the ice cream right on top of the fruit.
I stirred and ate it.
This snack was very good.
I could swear that I was cheating, but it clearly was part of the Military Diet.
By the way, after lunch I was barely hungry but after dinner.
I was already straight but remember I drank a lot of bottles of water the whole day.
Military Diet Review: Day 2
Day 2 Breakfast
On day 2, I knew better than to go straight to the kitchen.
I decided to drink my bottle of water first thing every morning to get my metabolism started.
After that, I headed outside with my dog to go jogging.
I then came back to do a few sit-ups, push-ups, and curls before heading to the kitchen.
Day 2s breakfast was 1 boiled egg.
I wrapped it with my whole wheat toast and devoured it.
Then, I ate half of a banana.
I was still not very fulfilled but I felt like I was almost halfway done with the 3 Day Military Diet, so I didn’t cheat.
Day 2 Lunch
Lunch consisted of one hard-boiled egg, crackers, and one cup of cottage cheese.
By the way, I wasn’t even hungry by lunchtime today – working out before breakfast really helped out a lot!
Surprisingly, this lunch was very filling too.
Reading about the foods that most people hate, I heard cottage cheese is a big one, but it was fine with me.
I’ve eaten plenty of cottage cheese before.
Besides, it’s just a quick diet,
Other people who did this diet were acting so extra.
They were fake vomiting and acting like their body had never encountered something so gross.
I wanted to jump through the screen and smack them in the back of the head.
For Christ’s sake, quit whining and just eat the damn cottage cheese.
Day 2 Dinner
I have to say that for Dinner on day two, I hooked it up!
I had two franks, a cup of carrots, one cup of broccoli, half a banana, and a half cup of ice cream again.
I cooked the franks in the skillet and turned them crispy and brown.
I chopped the franks up into little pieces.
Then I dumped the green beans and the carrots right on top of it, stirred it up, put the lid on the top of the skillet, and let that simmer.
I then added some crushed garlic which smelled great, then I tasted it.
I was thinking to myself, ‘I need to have this on a regular basis because really, it was that good.’
For dessert again, I had just half of a banana.
I sliced it into slices, warmed it in the microwave for a couple of seconds, and then poured my ice cream on top of that.
Honestly, I can eat that meal almost any day. (Diet or not)
I was super satisfied with the Day 2s dinner.
Military Diet Day 3 results
It was day three and the diet was almost over.
For breakfast, I had one slice of cheddar cheese, one small apple, and five crackers.
Again, I worked out first, then I ate.
It was a small breakfast, but I was happy.
I was almost done with the third day.
It was surprisingly filling
By the time lunch came around, I felt a little hungry.
I ate my one slice of bread and two last boiled eggs.
It was NOT enough.
My stomach definitely craved more, so I tried to fill up on water.
Dinner wasn’t very filling either.
I had one cup of tuna and the same ice cream and banana mix.
The strict diet was starting to aggravate me.
I wanted a steak!
I don’t think I’ve ever talked myself into going to sleep as early as I did that night.
Lose 10 pounds in 3 days? Does the Military diet work?
Today was day 4.
I successfully completed the Military Diet.
Stepping on the scale I was very surprised that I actually lost seven pounds 3 days,
I was pretty sure the ice cream and chicken were going to get me here, but it did.
It was amazing.
I think the most incredible part was how these 3 days helped me take food off a pedestal.
I walked through the supermarket today and had little to no interest in all of the processed food with colorful, attention-grabbing boxes.
I think the best part of that diet was the discipline.
I guess that’s why they call it a “military diet.”
Do I recommend the Military diet?
I think the military diet was easy to do because my 3 days were spent close to home.
The furthest I went was to the supermarket.
I worked from home making over 80,000 a year after only 4 weeks of training so I did not have to go far to work.
My fear is when I’m out and all over the world traveling and making videos for the Passport Kings Travel Channel
I love to taste different foods from different cultures.
Sharing a meal also seems like the universal way to celebrate successes among friends and colleagues.
This diet worked, and I’m sure I’m going to be using a lot of its principles in the upcoming weeks.
I’m gonna go on the exact diet, next week once I get back from Brazil!
When I look at dating apps, I am appalled by all of the fat people in America.
I truly believe more than half of our issues would be solved if we all went to the gym and worked hard daily.
What I’m going to do is my workout now, and I’ll eat a light breakfast.
If you want to lose a couple of pounds really fast, try the 3-day Military Diet.
But afterward, let all chip in to help America be known as the land of the sexy people by staying in shape.
